When Every House Starts to Blur: A Smart Strategy for Touring Homes in Port St. Lucie

That’s why we encourage buyers who tour homes with us to focus on no more than six homes in a single day. Here’s why that number works.

Why Six Homes Is the Sweet Spot

After showing homes for years in Port St. Lucie, we’ve noticed a pattern:

They only stayed a few minutes before heading to lunch. To them, this gorgeous home was “just another house.”

What If None of the Six Are “The One”?

That’s okay. Sometimes the first tour helps uncover preferences that weren’t clear before. We’ve had days where nothing felt right, but by talking it through, we helped buyers realize they were ready to shift their must-haves or negotiate compromises.

The next tour day was focused, and one of those homes became “the one.”

This was the 4th home that day, after months of searching on their own. This was it. Before they hired us, they randomly visited open houses.

From Window Shopping to Making a Move

Recently, a couple relocating to Port St. Lucie flew in for one reason: to find their next home. They had toured the area before, window-shopped at open houses, and even lost out on a previous offer.

This time, they focused on just five homes in a single HOA community they had researched for months. By the end of the day, they had chosen one. We wrote up the offer in the hotel lobby that night and they closed 45 days later.
